English classes at GLB focus on communication; rather than drills and memorization exercises, students learn grammar and vocabulary through speaking activities, games, and role-plays which give them the chance to develop their language skills for practical uses. Of course, students also practice their writing, listening, and reading, but this is done through an alternative range of themes and topics which are not found in regular textbooks. Most of all, students are encouraged to be active language learners and to work with the teacher to make their lessons rewarding and beneficial.
